"Odysseus Did It Better"

Film: Dr. Cyclops (1940)

Alias: Dr. Cyclops

Type: Natural

Location: Haunted Home

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: What do people see in shrinking others? How is it scientifically interesting? We have no idea, and we presume that it's almost always for laughs and giggles. Just ask Dr. Thorkel, who had a blast shrinking and torturing others.

History: Dr. Alexander Thorkel never had the best eyesight, but that didn't stop him from experimenting on everything and shrinking them because SCIENCE! Then again, he named his cat Satanus, so there. When a few professors found this out, they were promptly shrunk as well. Calling it a day, Thorkel left them to get killed by the animals surrounding the area. But alas, they were persistent little pests...

Notable Kills: Small guy irritating you? Shoot em' with a shotgun at point blank range. The NRA could use him.

Final Fate: The mini-folk lead the mad doctor to a mineshaft, where one thing led to another, and he fell to his death.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: His poor eyesight, made worse when his glasses are shattered on one side.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-As a regular person, Thorkel is an unhinged yet average human being. As a tiny person, just about everything is dangerous, but none like a mad man coming for your tiny head to experiment on.

Trivia: -Keep in mind, this came from the director of the original "King Kong". One has to wonder if those posters for this film were going for the same premise (yuck).

-This is the second sci-fi film to be released in technicolor, seven years after "Mystery of the Wax Museum".
